The Frazer School’s science bowl team finished first on Saturday at the prestigious Armador Valley national invitational tournament.
The online tournament featured the top science bowl teams in the nation, based on 2025’s tournament records. This year, all four of the semifinalists from the 2025 national championship competed, along with eight of the top 10 teams from last year’s tournament.
The Frazer School went undefeated in the tournament and finished the competition by defeating defending national champion Montgomery/Blair, 88-16, in the finals.
“We were a little disappointed to not advance past the top 12 at last year ‘s national championship and felt we had something to prove this year,” said Frazer School head science coach Marc Moody. “We were really looking forward to this tournament and getting a chance to see how we compare this year to the best teams in the country. To beat the defending national champions in the finals has our whole team excited about our chances this year.”
