Oak Hall School students earn College Board School Recognition Award

Oak Hall School announced Tuesday that 40 Upper School students have been presented with the College Board School Recognition Award, which recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence within their school community

“Oak Hall continues to celebrate students who excel in academics while embracing the spirit of scholarship and community,” Dr. James Hutchins, Head of School at Oak Hall, said in a press release. “These students represent the very best of Oak Hall: intellect, integrity, and determination. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.” 

To qualify for the award, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Score among the top 10% of their high school’s test takers on the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10, and/or  
  • Earn a score of 3 or higher on two or more distinct Advanced Placement (AP) exams by 10th grade.  

This year’s honorees from Oak Hall represent the Classes of 2026 and 2027. The recipients are Elizabeth Cannon, Yash Pillai, Elena Clark, Sophia Odocha, Laurel Gurley, Gresham Beery, Olivia Van Vorst, Isaac Dixon, Elseya Wellehan, Jack Okun, Soié Haberman, Isabelle Watson, Matthew Silva, Rory Glynn, Charlotte Ulewicz, Meghan Heredia, Christos Zoidis, Hajun Lee, Benjamin Gallogly, Graham Rosenstone, Cristian Spiguel, Kalyan Rose, William Klein, Sarah Sukumar, Avery Mowitz, Mackenzie Rowe, Paul Thur de Koos, Parker Kohlhaas, Claire Migliaccio, Lena McCarthy, Luke Naylor, Andrew Eisner, Tehila Okonoboh, Kaitlyn Lee, Daniel Acs, Vinay Chheda, Giovanna Novelli Bretas, Cameron Currier, Harper Li and Warren Meisenbach.
