Community members lined the road with signs and heavy hearts as the fallen deputy passed by.

The office  announced on Thursday the unexpected passing  of Tilliman. He was part of ACSO’s Patrol Operations Division and served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.

After the procession, the ACSO thanked the community for its support.

“On behalf of Our Sheriff, Team 1 Night Shift and the Men and Women who faithfully serve the citizens of Alachua County, we Thank You for Supporting Our Fallen Deputy as he was taken to his rest,” said an ACSO Facebook post.
