Tomorrow (Friday 10/30) from 4-8PM, it’s the Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest and Downtown Trick-or-Treating event, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe and the High Springs Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). The purpose is to bring families in our community together for a evening of fun and fellowship.
Families can bring as many decorated, carved, or painted pumpkins as they would like to enter into the contest. All in attendance will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to vote for their favorite pumpkin. The winners will be awarded based on age category.
There will also be prizes for all participants and trick-or-treating will follow at select downtown businesses.
Hand Sanitizer and Social Distancing will be followed in the pavilion. Please bring a mask.
The High Springs Police Department will have officers downtown to keep children and families safe. Some side roads will be closed off. Please watch for signs and officer direction.
