The Santa Fe Springs Plein Art Quick Draw will be held on Saturday, April 11, at O’Leno State Park in High Springs.

The event, which is a fast-paced outdoor painting challenge for artists, will go from 10 a.m. to noon at 410 SE O’Leno Park Rd.

During this timed event, participating artists will have a limited window to create an original plein air painting from start to finish. Spectators are invited to watch the creative process unfold in real time as artists capture the beauty of the Santa Fe River at O’Leno State Park.

Following the Quick Draw, the freshly completed works will be displayed and judged with first-place prizes in all three categories. 

Event details, artist registration, and schedule information are available through Lanza Gallery & Art Supplies or online at www.lanzagallery.com/events. Pre-registration is preferred, or for one hour before the event at the park, between 9 and 10 a.m. Judging at 12:30 p.m. at registration tent by the parking lot.
