Alachua County Library to hold Fandomonium

The Alachua County Library District will be hosting an all-ages comic con style event known as Fandomonium. 

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, at Headquarters Library (401 E University Ave).  

There will be cosplay contests, trivia contests, Pokémon Go meet-ups, vendor displays, retro gaming zone and arcade challenges. There will be panels on 3D printing and cosplay creation and a graphic novel illustration workshop.

Kevin Thelwell, anime voice actor and assistant director on Crunchyroll dubs, will be a special guest speaker. Thelwell is currently on the anime show, “Am I Actually the Strongest.”

Why not try to be a little more true to the origins of the inspiration and call it “Fandemonium”?
