The Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County (ELCAC) is hosting a diaper drive through May 24.
The ELCAC noticed a great need for diapers in the Gainesville community. The ELCAC is accepting diapers and wipes as donations.
“Your generous contribution of diapers will help alleviate a portion of the cost of raising a young child and I’m quite confident that our families will greatly value your donation,” Jacki Hodges, CEO of the ELCAC, stated in a press release.
There are three drop-off locations in Gainesville. Donations can also be made online through Amazon.
Drop-off locations:
- Starbucks (1614 NW 13th St.)
- Gainesville Health and Fitness Women’s Center (2441 NW 43rd St.)
- Greater Gainesville Chamber (300 East University Avenue, Unit 100)
The ELCAC was created to provide financial assistance for childcare and school readiness for children from birth until kindergarten.
