
Easton Newberry Archery Center will host the eighth annual Bow Hunters Challenge this Saturday.
The competition aims to prepare and help archers of all styles to hone their archery skills.
Registration for the event is available online or by phone. Early registration is before August 20 and costs $30. For registering late, the fee is $35, and the cost for signing up at the door is $40. Hunters of all ages are welcome to participate.
The event begins at 9 a.m. with announcements, and the competition will follow.
The 3D competition consists of a 20-target challenge, a long shot challenge, and a “hold my drink challenge.”
The judges will verify the hunters’ scores before the award ceremony.
Saturday’s event will also have food vendors on-site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and raffle drawings for prizes.
