The Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA) Gallery will host an Art Walk event on Friday, Sept. 27.
The event, which starts at 6 p.m., is at 1314 S. Main St. in Gainesville.
From 6 to 8 p.m., there will be a planting demonstration, tree giveaway and information from local climate groups.
A panel on Florida-friendly landscaping is scheduled from 8 to 8:30 p.m. and an Art Walk reception will run from 7 to 10 p.m.
The first-ever event was inspired by GFAA’s current exhibit, “Heat,” which runs through Oct. 19.
