The Lake Alice Watershed is nearly 1,106 acres and is located primarily on the UF campus. With significant topography, the watershed has witnessed a great deal of development over the past 100 years. With immediate needs and challenges being addressed during that time, UF is seeking a stormwater management framework.

The Watershed Management Plan (WMP) for Lake Alice will feature creeks, wetlands, the lake and stormwater infrastructure. The WMP will include a cohesive and holistic framework for the campus stormwater management that addresses operation, maintenance needs, current construction and provides recommendations for future stormwater management while the UF campus continues to develop.

Ask them if they plan to relocate the UF Golf course and develop the current golf course with (staff) housing? That would entail stormwater management upgrades.
