The fifth annual Night of Dance is scheduled to take place on Saturday at Bo Diddley Plaza in downtown Gainesville.
UF Healthstreet rescheduled the free event, which will run from 4 to 6 p.m. at 111 E. University Ave., due to Hurricane Ian.
The Night of Dance features ways to improve health through screenings, education and information on local resources while combining interactive dance and fitness performances to engage attendees. Food vendors, dance performers and more than 25 local partners will be on hand.
COVID vaccinations will also be offered. UFHeathStreet, an engagement program at UF with a mission to improve health in the community, hopes to serve 500-plus individuals from Gainesville and the surrounding rural counties.
