Meridian Behavioral Healthcare will be hosting the seventh annual Steps to Wellness Luncheon, which is centered around the theme, “It Takes a Village” and mental wellness this year.  

The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21. at The Best Western Grand in Gainesville (4200 NW 97th Blvd.).  

“We firmly believe that it truly takes a village to support and uplift individuals on their journey to wellness,” said Kandra Albury, VP of Marketing in a press release. “The Steps to Wellness Luncheon has become a renowned gathering and we are excited to see the community come together once again to further our mission.”

This year’s luncheon is a celebration of community and a shared commitment to mental wellness. The event is organized by Meridian, an organization dedicated to promoting mental health and supporting those with substance use disorders throughout North Central Florida. 

The event will feature an engaging program that includes guest speakers and experts in the field of mental health. Their insightful presentations and experiences will shed light on various aspects of mental wellness and the significance of a supportive community.
