More than a dozen hot rods rambled around the Oak hammock at the University of Florida on Wednesday morning followed by a rockabilly party for residents later in the day.

Gainesville Street Rods trip captain Michael Stelzleni arranged for the hot rods to roll around the retirement community for a parade and car show from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The day concluded with a rockabilly 1950s dance party from 5-7 p.m.
