Dudley Farm Historic State Park will host “Plowing Up The Past” on Saturday as visitors will experience a glimpse into rural American history as fields are prepared for spring plantings using traditional methods.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 18730 West Newberry Road in Newberry.

The event will feature demonstrations of various types of field plows and antique tractors, highlighting farming equipment from the 1930s and 1940s. Guests can observe participants working the land through plowing and discing, offering a hands-on look at the agricultural practices of the era.
