Mainstreet does not have a paywall, but pavement-pounding journalism is not free. Join your neighbors who make this vital work possible.

The poetry festival features John Murillo, author of the poetry collections, Up Jump the Boogie and Kontemporary Amerikan Poetry. He will end the festival on Sunday with a poetry workshop and reading. Participants should bring to this session either a few passages from their one favorite writer, or one passage each from a few of their favorite writers.
