Emergency units from Alachua County responded to Levy County Thursday morning to extricate a driver whose pickup collided with an oak tree.  

According to an Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) release, the ACFR Technical Rescue Team and Engine 82 from Archer assisted Levy County Fire Rescue units at 5:30 a.m. to extricate a driver in a pickup versus an oak tree collision.

Emergency responders transported the driver to a local hospital. The patient is in stable condition.
