Emergency responders rescued a calf partially submerged in water in a cave in Newberry on Saturday.
According to an Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) release, a ranch owner notified Newberry Fire Rescue (NFR) at 9:15 a.m. of a calf in a hole.
NFR contacted ACFR for assistance and ACFR responded with its technical rescue team to assist in extricating the newborn calm.
