Keystone Heights man, 60, seriously injured after car crashes into house

A 60-year-old Keystone Heights man was seriously injured on Tuesday afternoon when his car left State Road 21 and crashed into a garage and home in Clay County.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving a sedan north on SR 21 and was approaching SE Nelson Pt. in Keystone Heights at 3:09 p.m. when his vehicle traveled off the road onto the right shoulder and collided with a garage and home. The vehicle stopped inside the house.

Emergency responders transported the man to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. No occupants were injured inside the house.
