According to the release, task force members did not pursue but were nearby when Jordan ran the stop sign and was hit by a vehicle that had the right of way. LCPD officers cited Jordan as at fault for the collision and arrested him on other charges following the traffic crash investigation.

Jordan was arrested and transported to the Columbia County Detention Center. He is being charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, resisting an officer without violence and fleeing/eluding a police officer.
