A Lake City man died when he failed to stop at the bottom of the I-75 exit 414 offramp, overturned and collided with a parked car on Monday.
The 65-year-old driver exited the southbound off-ramp around 5:18 p.m. heading toward US Highway 441. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), he went through the stop sign, traveled across US 441 and entered a parking lot on the east side of US 441.
The sedan then overturned in the parking lot before striking a parked car and a food trailer.
Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead on scene. FHP reported he was not wearing a seatbelt.
