According to the release, drivers can expect lane closures and flag operations between 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. daily. Law enforcement will perform traffic control and the intersections during the overnight construction operations.
Preferred Materials Inc. was awarded the $4.9 million contract, which includes intersection improvements, sidewalk, curb and gutters, milling and resurfacing, traffic signals, highway signing and other incidental construction.
Project completion is expected in winter 2025, barring unforeseen circumstances and weather conditions.
