Google MapsA Live Oak man died on Thursday when an SUV pulled in front of his motorcycle on State Road 51.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 30-year-old female driving an SUV southbound on SR 51 turned left into the path of a 34-year-old male driving a motorcycle north at Country Road 250 at 6 p.m.
The motorcycle collided with the SUV and emergency responders pronounced the driver dead on scene.
The SUV driver – along with a 51-year-old female, a 2-year-old male and a 3-year-old female riding in the vehicle – all had minor injuries. The driver and two children were transported to Suwannee Emergency hospital.
