Updating Breaking News: Two-vehicle crash in Suwannee County kills two

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a two car crash yesterday at approximately 5:42 PM near the intersection of US HWY 129 and 44th Place in Suwanee County.

A pickup truck, driven by a 54 year old man from Lake Park, Georgia, with a male passenger was traveling south on US HWY 129. The second vehicle was traveling north on US HWY 129.

Due to unknown reasons the driver of the first vehicle steered into the northbound lane causing the front right of his pickup to strike the front of the second vehicle, also a pickup truck driven by a 72-year old woman from Mayo. The crash rotated her vehicle in a clockwise direction and came to rest on US HWY 129 facing south.
