Newberry upended Trenton for a narrow 20-17 victory at Newberry High on September 11 in week two of the high school football season.
The Panthers broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 14-10 lead over Trenton.
Newberry improved its record to 1-1 on the year, while Trenton dropped to 1-1.
Through the early stages of the affair, Trenton controlled the pace, taking a 10-7 lead into halftime.
Each offense authored its Rip Van Winkle imitation, napping through a barren first quarter.
The Panthers stay at home next week to play against Union County, while Trenton returns home to play Cambridge Christian of Tampa.
