Seven additional UF students test positive for coronavirus; total now at 11

The University of Florida today, on its coronavirus website under FAQ, confirmed that seven students tested positive for the coronavirus. According to the site, they are described as:

  • Graduate Student, College of Business, off-campus housing
  • Graduate Student, College of Business, off-campus housing
  • Undergraduate Student, College of Health and Human Performance, off-campus housing
  • Undergraduate Student, College of Journalism and Communications, off-campus housing
  • Law Student, College of Law, off-campus housing
  • Undergraduate Student, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences , off-campus housing
  • Employee, College of Veterinary Medicine

This brings the number of UF students testing positive at 11. Earlier in the week, Governor Ron DeSantis announced, and UF officials confirmed, that four UF students tested positive. They were described as:

  • Undergraduate Student, College of the Arts, off-campus housing
  • Professional Student, College of Dentistry, off-campus housing
  • Professional Student, College of Dentistry, off-campus housing
  • Undergraduate Student, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, off-campus housing
