Williston man, 42, dies in 2-vehicle collision in Levy County

A 42-year-old Williston man died Saturday afternoon when he drove his pickup truck into the oncoming lane on County Road 241 and collided with a van in Levy County.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving southbound on CR 241 north of County Road 335 at 2:43 p.m. when he traveled into the path of a 40-year-old Williston woman driving a van northbound. The front left of the pickup truck collided with the front left of the van.

The Williston man driving the pickup truck was killed in the collision.

The Willison woman driving the van, along with her passengers – a 13-year-old Williston girl and a 4-year-old Williston girl – sustained minor injuries.
