Lakeland Santa Fe Catholic nips Gainesville Oak Hall in scare 13-7

It wasn’t pretty, gut-tough wins usually aren’t, but Lakeland Santa Fe Catholic wasn’t going for style points. A victory will do, and it was earned 13-7 over Gainesville Oak Hall in a Florida high school football matchup on October 29.

The scoreboard was in hibernation in the fourth quarter, with neither team scoring.

The Crimson Hawks broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 13-7 lead over the Eagles.

A halftime tie at 7-7 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.

The Crimson Hawks opened with a 7-0 advantage over the Eagles through the first quarter.
