Barras led Trenton to a state championship in 2019, a national ranking in 2020

Today’s senior spotlight is Emily Barras of Trenton High School. Barras was a 2-sport athlete who participated in basketball and softball.

Barras was third on the Lady Tigers’ basketball team with an average of 2.7 assists per game. She was also fourth on the team with an average of 2.1 steals per game. One of her best games was in December against Hilliard in a district clash. Barras scored a season-high nine points, dished out seven assists and added six steals in the win. She helped lead Trenton to a 21-6 record, a district championship, and a spot in the Class 1A Regional Final.

But on the diamond, she was even better.
