Last year, Branford handed the Lady Bulldogs just their second loss of the 2019 campaign and ended their season in the Region Final. Branford ended up losing to Newberry in last year’s state semifinals.

With the loss, Branford’s season comes to an end.

With last night’s win, Bell improves to 17-5 overall. The ‘Dogs will play Union County for the district title tomorrow night.  Bell was 3-0 against the Tigers this season.  Both teams earned invites to this year’s FHSAA Class 1A state playoffs, with the winner of tomorrow’s game hosting a first round game while the loser will be on the road.  The Class 1A playoffs begin on Tuesday, October 27.
