Paulling heads to UF after stellar academic and athletic career at Bell High School

Today’s senior spotlight is on 2-sport athlete Presley Paulling of Bell High School. 

Paulling played volleyball and softball, and also participated in cheerleading.  She is this year’s Senior Class Valedictorian and was also voted “Mostly likely to Succeed” by her classmates. Paulling served three years as class officer, was a Student Ambassador, and participated in the Yearbook Club. She also successfully completed the Health Academy Program and will Graduate with her CNA license later this month.

On the playing field, Paulling was second on the softball team with a .387 batting average. She was third with 10 runs batted in and second with four doubles. Last year she was a Gainesville Sun honorable mention All-Area selection after driving in 15 runs for the 20-6 Lady Bulldogs, who made the Class 1A state playoffs.  Paulling played volleyball as a sophomore on a team that went 21-7 and advanced to the postseason.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Florida in the fall where she will be working towards majoring in Biology or Microbiology and then pursue a job in Health Research.
