His favorite high school sports moment was when the Blue Wave were in the first round of the playoffs during his sophomore year, and Kendrick forced a fumble on the first drive of the game.

Kendrick has college scholarship offers from Carthage, Albright, and Defiance Colleges.  He also has interest from the Air Force Academy, the University of South Florida (USF), and Alabama A&M.

Kendrick and the Blue Wave will look to bounce back from last Friday’s 26-23 overtime loss at Trenton. P.K. Yonge will host Eastside this Friday night. It will be the season opener for the Rams and the debut of new Eastside coach Alex Deleon.  Eastside won last year’s game in a shootout, 46-40.
