The Eastside Rams continued to struggle in 2020 with a second straight loss, falling to St. Augustine Menendez 28-3. The Falcons fought back from a slow start, scoring four unanswered touchdowns on Thursday night to begin week three of high school football.
Eastside authored a promising start, leading the Falcons 3-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Menendez opened their scoring in the second quarter with two touchdowns to take a 14-3 halftime lead. The third quarter gave Menendez a 21-3 lead.
Eastside fell to 0-2 on the season, while Menendez improved to 1-1. The Rams are home next Friday against Buchholz in week four.
