Today’s senior spotlight is on Reagan Hudson of Chiefland High School.
Hudson played volleyball for the Indians, and was also on the varsity weightlifting, and track & field teams. This past fall, she finished with 90 digs and 59 service points for the Lady Indians volleyball team and she was named varsity volleyball Mrs. Congeniality in 2018.
Among her other achievements, she was Levy County Female Track MVP in 2018 & 2019, and she was also the Class of 2020 Valedictorian. She was recognized in her sophomore year for a perfect mark on the End-of-Course Assessment in tenth-grade Biology.
Hudson was also the recipient of the Levy County Republican Scholarship.
Reagan’s favorite high school sports moment was beating Branford in the 2018 Volleyball District Tournament and going on to be Runner Ups at Regionals. Her favorite coach quote is by Harry Hutson who said, “Do better than your best.”
Her plans after high school are to attend the University of Florida in the Fall and major in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in American Government.
She has plans to become a Physician’s Assistant and work in Pediatrics. Hudson also hopes to serve in the Air Force Reserves as an officer.
