Week Six preview: Gainesville-Buchholz postponed due to COVID-19 positive test; Chiefland plays in ‘Border War’ against Trenton

Tonight’s city rivalry football game between Gainesville and Buchholz was postponed on Wednesday because GHS had a positive test for COVID-19.  However, the Bobcats were able to schedule Class 8A Steinbrenner yesterday.  The ‘Cats and Warriors will kick off tonight at 7 p.m. at Citizen’s Field.

Tonight it’s the Border War as the Chiefland football team travels to Trenton.

The visiting Indians are looking to even their record at 2-2 following last week’s 61-28 win against West Oaks Academy of Orlando. Trenton (1-4) lost at home to Dixie County, 48-20.
