Today’s Rising Senior spotlight is on Eli Davis of Williston High School.

Davis will play football and participate on the weightlifting team his senior year. He will play on both lines of scrimmage for the Red Devils. Heading into the 2020 season, Davis has started 20 straight games on the offensive line.  He played sparingly on defense, recording a season-high two tackles for a loss against Dixie County.

Davis is a member of the National Honor Society. His favorite quote is by legendary football coach Vince Lombardi who said, “Leaders are made, they are not born. They are made by hard effort which is the price all of us must pay to achieve any goal that is worthwhile.”

Davis does have an interest to play at the next level, but he doesn’t know where yet. His goals for his senior season are to work hard and be the best player that he can be.
