Gainesville’s new J.Crew Factory store has announced it will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this community,” says Jody Gietl, head of J.Crew Factory, said in a statement released Wednesday afternoon. “We’re looking forward to offering families great styles for every occasion, all at compelling prices.”
Butler Enterprises announced in March that J.Crew Factory was coming to Butler Plaza (3910 SW Archer Road), but it did not disclose a specific open date.
Wednesday’s announcement came with the news that the grand opening would include special offers, including $10 off purchases of $75 or more and up to 50% off the whole store inventory. The store will also give away a $250 J.Crew Factory gift
card to one grand-prize winner.
A Butler Enterprises press release also touted other promotional offers through the company’s loyalty reward program, J.Crew Passport.
“Members earn points on every purchase, a $5 reward for every 200 points, a birthday surprise, early access to discounts, and more,” the press release said. “J.Crew Factory offers additional discounts for teachers, college students, healthcare workers, first responders, and military personnel.”
The store’s opening will mark the first J.Crew Factory location in Gainesville. J.Crew Group operates 14 other J.Crew Factory stores around Florida, in addition to eight J.Crew stores, but the closest locations were Jacksonville and St. Augustine.
The Gainesville store’s hours of operations are as follows:
- Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Tuesday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Wednesday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Thursday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Friday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
