A Wednesday night fire at Parkview Baptist Church in Lake City is being investigated as a possible arson.
According to a Lake City Police Department (LCPD) release, officers responded to the report of a fire at 9:06 p.m. and discovered the blaze at 268 NW Lake Jeffery Rd. The Lake City Fire Department was contacted and extinguished the fire.
An investigation determined the fire had a suspicious origin and the State Fire Marshall’s Office was requested to assist.
