A high-speed pursuit on Interstate 75 ended when the suspect crashed off the north Williston Road offramp on Tuesday.

According to an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) release sent around 1:50 p.m., deputies and Gainesville Police Department (GPD) officers are on scene and the roadway has been cleared.

The suspect in the incident was injured in the collision with a FedEx tractor-trailer and was transported to a hospital pending multiple felony charges.

This is literally my nightmare at that off-ramp intersection, blind curve and no one slows down soon enough.
