Farm Share to distribute food at Lincoln Middle School

Farm Share will be holding two food distribution events in Gainesville on Friday and Trenton on Saturday.

Food non-profit Farm Share and Women Working With Women will host a food distribution event for Gainesville area residents on Saturday, June 27, at Lincoln Middle School.

The event will start at 9:30 a.m. and run until supplies last at 1001 SE 12^th St.

Volunteers are needed. To help with the event, call Tanisha Byars (352-363-8405) or Belinda Smith (352-872-8555). Volunteers need to check in at 7 a.m.

Farm Share will distribute non-perishable canned goods and fresh produce. There is no income or household size restriction, and the event is free for everyone. Attendees must arrive in a vehicle that has a cargo bed or trunk.
