Gun violence discussion panel to be held on Saturday

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense, the Alachua County Council of PTAs and the Greater Duval Neighborhood Association will be hosting a panel discussion on gun violence and school safety.  

The panel will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Clarence R. Kelly Center (1701 NE 8th Ave.)  

Discussion will center around the impact of gun violence on the community, school-related gun violence on children and youth and evidence-based strategies to keep children safe.
