Keep Alachua County Beautiful (KACB) will hold a community cleanup in the Pineridge neighborhood on Saturday, July 19.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon, weather permitting, and will start at the Pineridge Community Center (2509 NW 57th Place) in Gainesville.
Lunch will be provided for volunteers, who will work to remove litter from the public areas and neighborhood streets. Cleanup supplies will be provided, and volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable, cool clothing and closed-toed shoes, along with bringing a refillable water bottle and sunscreen.
The event, organized by KACB, is being supported by community partners and the city of Gainesville, led by Gainesville City Commissioner Ed Book.
