On Saturday, May 24, the Williston Animal Group (WAG) will host its Puppy Palooza to showcase adoptable puppies.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the all-volunteer nonprofit shelter located at 1804 SW 18th St. in Williston.
WAG will offer several large, welcoming paddocks as a “getting to know you” setting, which will provide an opportunity where adopters can meet, play with, cuddle, and smell the breath of their potential next member of their family.
Volunteers will be on hand to assist and will have details on each puppy.
Nearly 20 puppies will be looking for new homes and adoption applications will be available at the event, but same-day adoptions will only be permitted for pre-screened and pre-approved adopters.
Applications can be filled out in advance from the WAG website.
WAG also has adult dogs available for adoption, and some will be at the event.
