A 16-year-old Branford girl died Saturday when the SUV she was riding in overturned while traveling through a hay field in Suwannee County.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, a 16-year-old Branford girl was driving an SUV east through a hay field around 79th Road and 274th Street at 5:25 p.m. following a heavy rainfall. The SUV began to travel left, causing the vehicle to rotate and overturn onto its right side.
The crash killed the 16-year-old passenger, and the driver sustained minor injuries. Two other passengers — a 16-year-old Branford girl and a 15-year-old Branford girl — were not injured.
FHP reported that no one in the vehicle was wearing seatbelts.
Kids!!!! Wear your seatbelts!!! Drivers responsibility to make sure everyone has seatbelts on before moving !!!!
How about having a little compassion? The family can see these comments. I’m sure you have never ever made a mistake in your entire life…
Have respect for the family. If you can’t saying anything nice then please don’t say anything at all. It’s bad enough they all have to live with something no one should have to live with. So please don’t come on hear saying something like that.
How about you tend to your family and let others tend to theirs. Keyboard Warrior. SMH
It takes one second to click that seat belt, just do it, it’s not that hard.

How about instead of ASSUMING, and know ALL of the facts before you start being a keyboard warrior.
This was a side by side, it was also my cousin that was killed in this accident so please be mindful of families when you say things. This article makes it sound like was a car or something
It was an SUV not a SXS. There have been rumors spreading about it being a SXS, but I was on site. It was an SUV. Sorry for your loss.
It’s was a suv I know for sure people going around saying all kind of things but it wasn’t a side by side
How about until you know the FACTS and not the whole story don’t say anything. They were NOT trespassing. One of the families owned the hay field and there was a reason that the driver was in the field. For all of you know it alls.
These key board warriors that come on here and post hiding behind a keyboard and fictional names. How about post your name and we will debate.
