Sweetwater Wetlands Park contest closes in 8 days

Key Points

Sweetwater Wetlands Park is searching for a new cover photo for its Facebook page to use in 2024.  

The park will accept entries through the end of November. The regulations: photos must be taken at Sweetwater Wetlands Park, taken in 2023 and one entry is allowed per person.  

To submit, send your entry to swpphoto2023@gmail.com. Park staff will wade through the photos and select 10 finalists. The finalists’ photos will be posted on Facebook to allow the public to pick the winner.

Last year’s winner, T. Craig Hyder, submitted a family of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks. Sweetwater Wetlands Park was recently added to the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail list.
