Multiple fire units responded to a vehicle and barn fire in Cross Creek on Sunday night.
According to an Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) release, firefighters from ACFR, Cross Creek Fire Department and Windsor Fire Department were dispatched at 9:37 p.m. to reports of a vehicle fire that spread to a large barn.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle that caught fire parked inside a large barn. The fire had spread to the barn.
Crews deployed two hose lines to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby brush and an adjacent structure.
The owner had safely removed all the animals from the barn prior to the arrival of the fire crews and no injuries were reported.
