A 16-year-old Morriston boy died Friday afternoon when he was driving an ATV, attempted to make a left turn on SE 160th Avenue in Levy County and the vehicle overturned, ejecting him.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the teen was driving a Honda Pioneer northbound on SE 160th Avenue west of Morriston at 4:15 p.m. He was approaching the intersection at SE 22nd Place and attempted to turn left, causing the vehicle to overturn. He was ejected from the ATV.
Emergency responder pronounced the teen dead on scene.
