COVID-19 testing
The City of Gainesville, using tests provided by the Department of Health, is expanding access to COVID-19 testing in Gainesville communities.
Starting May 21, the city will begin its mobile testing route, offering free COVID-19 tests each day on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
No doctor’s orders are required. Testing is available to minors 10 and up with an accompanying parent and to adults with a valid government ID. Testing will be offered Monday-Friday from 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m., excluding holidays, at the specified locations below.

COVID-19 Testing Results Phone Line
The Department of Health in Alachua County has set up a dedicated line for residents to call for COVID-19 test results. The phone number is 352-334-8828, and it is staffed Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
