The Gainesville Community Playhouse recently announced its 2026-27 season, featuring six productions that span Broadway musicals, classic Shakespeare and contemporary comedy.
The season opens in September with Finding “Neverland” and concludes in August 2027 with the Tony Award-winning satire “Urinetown, The Musical.”
Season subscriptions and Flex Passes are now available, allowing patrons to attend all six productions for the price of five regularly priced tickets. Both options include free ticket exchanges if plans change.
Season ticket holders receive the same seats and performance dates for each production throughout the season. Orders must be received by Aug. 17 and tickets will be mailed by Aug. 26.
Flex Passes offer the same savings while allowing patrons to choose performance dates and the number of seats for each production throughout the season. Flex Passes may be redeemed online, by phone, at the box office or at the door, subject to availability.
Season ticket prices are $125 for adults, $100 for seniors ages 60 and older and students, and $75 for children ages 12 and younger.
Individual tickets go on sale online beginning Sept. 1. The box office opens Sept. 9 and will operate 10 days before each production, Wednesdays through Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. Individual ticket prices are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students, and $15 for children.
Gift certificates are available year-round in any denomination and do not expire.
